Although Vernon was a victor inside the ring he was an even bigger champion outside of it.

Vernon always gave of himself. He loved his charities. He felt blessed to be associated with such wonderful people.

His smile was more powerful than his then his jab.

I'll fondly remember his kindness, spirit and loyalty.

A very good friend of IRONHEAD, the great Arturo Gatti has sadly passed away at the age of 37.
As exciting a boxer that ever lived, the man sported IRONHEAD boxing gear in many a fight and wore the colours proudly. If you have not done so, watch his fights with Mickey Ward on the web. They are for fight fans what boxing is simply all about.
He will be sadly missed.
